WHO WE ARE

We are ATIP, a non-profit organization headquartered in Arlington, TX, staffed largely by former USDA researchers & staff dedicated to commercializing promising new Ag technologies & business models around the country.

WHAT WE DO

In California, we are part of a team which includes the California Association of Local Economic Development (CALED) and the Fresno Economic Development Corporation. We are administering a USDA–funded Rural Business Development Grant aimed at growing the Bioeconomy in rural California by creating new opportunities for commercial waste to energy businesses and technologies, with emphasis on four California counties in the Central Valley.

FUTURE ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY

Our immediate tasks are to inventory and geo-locate all sizable commercial scale sources of biomass inputs, including agricultural and forest residues and wastes, from all sources: animal waste from livestock farms; municipal solid waste; and purpose-grown energy crops and grasses, Where available.

To support these efforts, we have established an Advisory Council of stakeholders and economic development leaders in the Central Valley.
